CaMiCando is the world's only festival specialised in the
roots styles of tango (tango canyengue, milonga and candombe)
and their contemporary expressions.

| First International Argentinian Tango Festival in Latvia „Tango Sun Festival”
from July 31 – August 3, 2008
The Festival will take place in Jūrmala. The festival is organised by the Argentinian tango studio „Tangostudio” in Riga.
• 30 workshops for dancers with different tango experience (5 levels) with world-class tango masters,
teachers and dancers Adrian Veredice & Alejandra Hobert from Argentina,
excellent teachers from Germany – Ilona & Salvador Rios (Düsseldorf) and Laura Priori & Andreas von Maxen (Berlin), as well as teachers Aigars Stirna un Ginta Opmane from Latvia.
• 4 milongas with excellent musicans from Argentina – Jonatan Blaty (bandoneon, guitar, voice) and Roman Gomez (guitar), and trio „Muzet Royal” from Germany (Berlin), as well as with well-known tango DJs from Germany - DJ Carsten Hefeling (Wuppertal), DJ Andreas Binninger (Düsseldorf),
DJ Andreas von Maxen (Berlin) - and Latvia DJ Aigars Stirna.
All workshops and milongas will take place in the elegant hotel near the Baltic sea „Baltic Beach Hotel” and the Majori Culture House.

| 2º Festival de Tango de Val Cenis (Alpes Franceses)
The II edition of the Festival will be carried out from August 17 until August 24, 2008 and, in the inaugural day, a trio formed by Daniel Binelli with the bandoneón, Polly Feerman to the piano and Eduardo Isaac with the guitar, and the partner of dance that Claudio Hoffman and Pilar Alvarez integrate, they will perform their show.
During these days the program includes meetings of learning of tango in charge of three partners of teachers, managers of teaching the rudiments of this rhythm. Projections of movies, conferences and meals to discover the culture and gastronomy of the Rio de la Plata.
The activities are foreseen to be done in the municipal homes of Lanslebourg and Lanslevillard,
but equally they will be done in the streets.
