In October it will be 10 years since the tango association Tangorama was established so they thought it was a good reason to celebrate it with a tango festival during one weekend on October 12-14 including workshops, milongas and dance shows with skilled professional dancers. The whole arrangement will take place at Folkets Hus in Helsingborg, a place that has one of the best dance floor in the region. The following weekend, on October 19-21, Dunkers Kulturhus will arrange various tango related activities because of their 5 years celebration. Those are of interest, not only for tango dancers, but also for all people who are interested in tango music and Rioplatenian culture. The program will include, as far as we know today, a presentation of tango history and tango culture and, not the least, a huge and unique photo exhibition. The detailed festival program will be presented on this web page continuously, as soon as it has been confirmed. We suggest you to already now reserve these days in your calendar!

Tangorama, has due to the 10 years celebration, published a brochure that in text and pictures tells the history of Tangorama during a ten years period. It also consists of interesting texts about the activities in the association of today and about tango in general. It will be yours for only 30 Swedish crowns. | OrchestraThe Dänisch trio CheTango will play at the festival
on the Octobre 13, Saturday night.
The group consists of Patricio Moya, piano,
Astrid Høier, violin and Signe Gjesing on contrabass.

| Dance couples and workshopsTwo dance couples will participate with giving workshops and making shows. The first couple is Paul Utter and Maria Ingstad from the Tango Academia in Malmö, a couple that is well known for dancers in the region.

| Dance couples and workshopsThe other couple will be Jonatan Froehlich and Monica Parra from Argentina, a young and exciting couple that they now have been able to engage for this occasion.

| DJsNo tango festival without good DJs! They have booked Klas Thulin to play on Octobre 12 and Jorge Monras from Copenhagen on Octobre 13, two very experienced and popular DJS who - for sure - will give you very good and tango music both of the days.
