Visit Tango Buenos Aires

In Buenos Aires, the world capital of tango, next Saturday, the 6th of December of 2008 will be celebrated the "Day of the Tango" with "The Big National Milonga". It is hoped that a big multitude should dance to the rhythm of two by four in the streets of Buenos Aires.

This day, from 08:00 p.m., in the Avenida de Mayo, from Peru up to Bernardo de Yrigoyen, more than 10 bands will parade three stages for those who want to dance or to listen to tangos.

It is estimated that in the year 2007 twenty thousand were the participants in this event, which is celebrated on the first Saturday of December in homage to the commemoration of the National Day of the Tango, on December 11.
